Welcome to Mings Adventure Nepal. By booking a trip, trekking package, tour, or other travel service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking becomes confirmed after we receive the required booking information and deposit or payment specified for the selected trip.
The booking confirmation will include the agreed itinerary, services, price, payment schedule, and other relevant arrangements.
Customized trips may have different booking and payment conditions depending on the services selected.
2. Payment
The required deposit must be paid to confirm the booking.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule provided at the time of booking and, unless otherwise agreed, before the trip begins.
Additional services requested after confirmation may involve additional charges.
3. Prices
Trip prices are based on the services listed on the individual trip page or quotation.
Prices may change due to changes in transportation costs, accommodation, permits, government fees, taxes, exchange rates, or other operational costs.
Any additional cost will be communicated to the traveler whenever reasonably possible.
4. Cancellation by Traveler
Cancellation charges depend on how far in advance the cancellation is made and on the services already booked or paid for.
Some payments, including domestic flights, accommodation, permits, transportation, and services provided by third parties, may be non-refundable.
The applicable cancellation and refund conditions will be communicated during booking.
5. Cancellation or Changes by Mings Adventure Nepal
Mings Adventure Nepal may modify, postpone, or cancel part of an itinerary when necessary because of weather, natural disasters, flight disruptions, road conditions, political or civil disturbances, trail conditions, government restrictions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where possible, we will offer a suitable alternative arrangement.
Additional costs resulting from unavoidable itinerary changes may be payable by the traveler.
6. Weather & Transportation
Mountain flights, road transportation, and other travel services may be affected by weather, operational conditions, technical issues, road conditions, or other factors.
Flight schedules, particularly in mountain regions such as Lukla, may change or be delayed.
Mings Adventure Nepal cannot guarantee fixed flight schedules when they are controlled by airlines, airports, weather, or other external conditions.
7. Trekking & High-Altitude Travel
Trekkers must understand that trekking in Nepal involves inherent risks, particularly at high altitude.
Depending on the route, travelers may experience altitude sickness, difficult terrain, changing weather, snow, ice, landslides, delays, or other natural hazards.
Some trekking routes require a licensed guide and TIMS or other permits under current Nepal regulations.
The itinerary may be changed when necessary for safety.
The decision of the guide regarding route changes, rest days, continuation, or descent for safety reasons should be respected.
8. Travel Insurance
Travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before beginning their journey.
For trekking and high-altitude trips, insurance should cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, helicopter rescue, trip interruption, cancellation, and loss or theft of personal belongings, as appropriate.
Nepal Tourism Board specifically advises comprehensive travel insurance because helicopter rescue and medical treatment can be expensive.
9. Health & Fitness
Travelers are responsible for informing Mings Adventure Nepal about relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or other information that may affect their journey.
Travelers should ensure that they are physically prepared for the selected trek or tour.
For high-altitude trekking, travelers should understand the symptoms and risks of altitude sickness and follow the advice of their guide.
10. Personal Belongings
Travelers are responsible for their passports, money, electronics, luggage, trekking equipment, and other personal belongings.
Mings Adventure Nepal is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless directly caused by our proven negligence.
Travelers should keep important documents and valuables secure during the trip.
11. Accommodation
Accommodation will be provided according to the selected package.
The exact hotel, tea house, lodge, resort, or room type may vary depending on availability, season, location, and local conditions.
In remote trekking areas, accommodation standards may differ from those available in Kathmandu and other major cities.
12. Meals
Meals included in a trip will be provided according to the individual itinerary.
Special dietary requirements should be communicated before the trip.
Additional meals, beverages, alcoholic drinks, or personal food items may involve additional charges unless specifically included in the package.
13. Permits & Government Requirements
Mings Adventure Nepal will arrange the permits and documentation included in the agreed package.
Travelers must provide accurate passport and personal information required for permits, flights, accommodation, and other travel arrangements.
Certain trekking areas require specific permits and government requirements. These requirements may change according to current regulations.
14. Traveler Responsibilities
Travelers are expected to:
- Follow the instructions of the guide and local authorities.
- Respect local culture, traditions, religion, and communities.
- Follow trekking and environmental guidelines.
- Respect other travelers and local people.
- Provide accurate personal and travel information.
- Take reasonable care of accommodation, transportation, and equipment.
- Follow safety instructions during trekking and other activities.
Nepal Tourism Board also advises visitors to respect local laws, customs, religion, and cultural values.
15. Responsible Travel
Mings Adventure Nepal encourages responsible and sustainable travel.
Travelers are expected to respect Nepal’s natural environment, avoid unnecessary waste, protect local heritage, and behave responsibly in local communities and protected areas.
16. Photography & Media
With the traveler’s permission, photographs or videos taken during a trip may be used by Mings Adventure Nepal for website, social media, marketing, or promotional purposes.
Travelers may request that their images not be used for promotional purposes.
17. Third-Party Services
Some services may be provided by independent third parties, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, activity operators, restaurants, and other local service providers.
Their operational policies may apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions.
18. Force Majeure
Mings Adventure Nepal is not responsible for delays, cancellations, losses, or additional expenses caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
These may include natural disasters, extreme weather, landslides, floods, earthquakes, strikes, road closures, political or civil disturbances, government restrictions, epidemics, flight disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
19. Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed according to the agreed cancellation policy and the refund policies of relevant service providers.
Costs already paid to third parties may not always be recoverable.
20. Itinerary Changes
The published itinerary represents the planned journey.
Actual trekking times, distances, accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing schedules may change because of local conditions, weather, availability, safety considerations, or operational requirements.
Mings Adventure Nepal will make reasonable efforts to maintain the main destinations and experiences included in the agreed itinerary.
21. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Mings Adventure Nepal website accurate and up to date.
However, prices, routes, accommodation, permits, transportation schedules, government requirements, and other travel information may change.
The confirmed booking, quotation, or travel agreement takes priority over general information published on the website.
22. Privacy
Personal information provided during booking will be used for travel arrangements, communication, permits, accommodation, transportation, and other services required to operate the trip.
We will handle personal information responsibly and will not knowingly sell or misuse traveler information.
23. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking with Mings Adventure Nepal, the traveler confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated when necessary to reflect changes in services, regulations, or operating practices.
