Itinerary

  • Morning: Drive 1.5 hrs from Pokhara to Nayapul (trek start).

  • Trek (4-6 hrs): Walk to Tikhedhunga, then tackle the steep 3,200-step ascent to Ulleri (1,960m).

  • Overnight: Ulleri.

  • Trek (4-5 hrs): A gentler climb through beautiful rhododendron forests to Ghorepani (2,874m).

  • Afternoon: Rest and acclimatize in this bustling trekking hub.

  • Overnight: Ghorepani.

  • Pre-Dawn (1 hr): Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m) for the iconic sunrise over the Himalayas.

  • Morning: Return to Ghorepani for breakfast.

  • Trek (6-7 hrs): Trek to Tadapani, then descend to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk (1,940m). Enjoy the culture and close-up mountain views.

  • Overnight: Ghandruk.

  • Trek (3-4 hrs): Descend to Nayapul via Kimche and Syauli Bazaar.

  • Drive (1.5 hrs): Return to Pokhara by noon/early afternoon.
