The Mardi Himal Trek is one of Nepal’s newest and most scenic trekking routes, located just east of the iconic Annapurna Base Camp trail. Itinerary

Drive: Pokhara to Kande (about 1 hour)
Trek: 4–5 hours.
You start with a short drive from Pokhara to Kande. The trek begins through lush forests, stone steps, and small villages. You’ll pass Australian Camp, which offers your first great mountain views, and continue through rhododendron forests to Deurali, where you stay overnight.

This is one of the most scenic days. The trek follows a narrow ridge with dramatic drops on both sides. The forest slowly turns into alpine landscape. High Camp offers stunning sunset views over Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

Trek: 5–6 hours (round trip)
You start early before sunrise to hike to the Mardi Himal Viewpoint. This is the most rewarding day, with jaw-dropping views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, and the entire Annapurna range right in front of you. After spending time at the viewpoint, you return to High Camp for the night.

Drive: Sidhing to Pokhara (2–3 hours)You descend through forests and terraced fields to Sidhing village, experiencing local Gurung culture along the way. From Sidhing, you drive back to Pokhara, ending the trek.
